Gospel singer whose best know for her song, ‘Because of who you are’ Vicki Yohe took to Instagram on Saturday to express her support for newly-sworn in Pres. Donald Trump and to taunt the 2.9 million demonstrators marching around the world for women’s rights. Yohe posted a photo of an actor dressed as Jesus carrying suitcases with the words, “On my way back to the White House.”
She went on, “You know you are doing something right when there is so much opposition!!! #excitingtimes.” Yohe — a white singer performing in the gospel genre with a large black following — quickly heard back from a number of people who are not so keen on her view of the Women’s March and the new administration. Many celebs and fans quickly to took social media to express their outrage.
Y y’all mad at #VickiYohe? That post indicates a white man with a lot of baggage is movin into the White House. Seems pretty accurate 2 me.

Man I honestly thought @vickiyohe was cool. You lost me with the pro Trump tweet. You can’t reconcile Jesus with hate and sexual assault.

People like @vickiyohe are the reason Christianity is mocked and vilified. She would stand w a man who lies, curses, and incites violence…
